Don’t Sweat, Ride a Bike

by Kate on May 13, 2009

Riding a bike to work is definitely a green way to travel, but what can be really annoying is getting sweaty in your work clothes. Showing up sweaty to a work meeting does not give a good impression (usually). And a lot of workplaces do not have showers. So, what can we do? GoCycle has an answer.

GoCycle is a bicycle that also has an electric motor that you can use when you reach a hill or when you feel like you might break a sweat. Also you don’t have to worry about grease on your pants because the GoCycle’s chain is completely encased. This definitely makes riding a bike to work easier and cleaner.

The GoCycle is made of a lightweight magnesium that is stronger than plastic but cheaper than carbon fiber, plus it is incredibly lightweight! The GoCycle is also incredibly portable with the ability to fold it up and take it apart easily to carry or pack up.

GoCycle is already growing popular, with May inventory completely sold out online! Right now GoCycle dealers are only in the UK, but hopefully soon it will grow worldwide providing us a greener and less sweaty way to ride our bikes to work.

This is a great bike for those who commute a relatively short distance to work and want to stop using the car. I think its perfect for the employee who doesn’t want to arrive at work looking like a rainstorm hit and smelling like a sweaty pig. Love the design of the bike. Very cool.

I’d love to take one of those for a test ride.
