In honor of Earth Day, we asked our Weekly Green Tips (WGT) readers to submit their favorite green tips and we had an excellent response. These green tips are our favorites and we are happy to share them to honor Earth Day.
“Use old bras as bird feeders. They hang wonderfully from the tree branches and the cups make great holders for the food.
Old toilet paper rolls can be used for storing cords, wires, and chargers that come with all of our electrical devices. You can even write on the outside of the tube so that you know which device the cord charges.
Empty cereal boxes make great gift boxes for shirts and other clothes, plus they’re already decorated so gift wrapping is optional.”

“Recycle Nutella pots as glasses.
Instead of buying more and more clothes, mix and match with friends!
If you take the used up pots of make up back to Mac they give you a free lipstick!”
