We have written a couple of posts about companies that are selling products and growing trees, and that is because we love it. More trees = more oxygen, more homes for animals, and it just goes on and on.
Zazzle.com is partnering with AmericanForests.org to grow a tree for each t-shirt sold from April 16 to April 24, 2009. You can choose any t-shirt on their website including the signature limited edition and 100% organic “Tree-shirts“. Choose a shirt that is already designed from the Zazzle Marketplace or customize your own! Just make sure to use this promotional code at checkout : ”PLANTATREE09″.
Zazzle.com’s goal is to plant 100,000 trees through this Earth Day promotion. That would be really awesome.
We understand that a lot of companies are doing green promotions for Earth Day, and that can be annoying when the company is not actually a green company…but every small step that helps the environment, we support. (And maybe the greenwashing businesses will have a change of heart and install solar panels or something…)
