We have a thing for sports cars here at Greener Trends – specifically green ones. A lot of people like sweet ecofriendly sports cars and the Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger is one of them.
Schwarzenegger saw an article titled “God’s Own Supercar” about the Ronn Motor Company’s Hydrogen fuel injected hybrid sports car, the Scorpion, in Men’s Journal and soon after the Scorpion was parked in front of the steps of the California Capital Building. Not only did Arnold Schwarzenegger get to test drive the vehicle, the CEO/Founder Ronn Maxwell sat by his side in the passenger seat.
The Scorpion gets up to 40 miles per gallon and can reach 200 miles per hour! The Hydrogen fuel injection fuel delivery system and the lightweight of the body of the vehicle, made of carbon fiber, helps this car reach its high gas mileage. This car is hot and it is green… but it has a fancy price as well. This year only 200 Scorpions will be sold and they will cost ya $150,000 with the special editions costing $250,000. Whew. We will have to see if Arnold splurges for one.
